District Communication
The district utilizes Edlio Broadcast as our automated notification system. To ensure you receive text and telephone communication from the district throughout the school year, please make sure that all of your contact information is up-to-date. Text messaging is used as a mode of communication during inclement weather, and emergencies, and to draw attention to other important updates from the district.
In addition to Edlio Broadcast, individual teachers and/or buildings may use other forms of communication throughout the year.
Stay connected to your Panther Family this year by joining the following communication channels:
SOCIAL MEDIA: To increase our communication efforts, you may follow us on Facebook (@AshdownPublicSchools) and Twitter (@AshdownSchools). Please ensure that you follow our official accounts to guarantee the most accurate information.

COMMUNICATION REGARDING INCLEMENT WEATHER: The District maintains a variety of ways to communicate delays, cancellations, and closings to our community and staff. Current notification systems include:
Automated text/call alert system (Edlio Broadcast)
Facebook (AshdownPublic Schools)
Twitter (@AshdownSchools)
District website (www.ashdownschools.org)
Please ensure that contact information - to include both home contacts and emergency contacts - for your child(ren) is up-to-date as this is what is used to reach families in the event of an emergency, a change in schedule due to weather, etc. You are able to make changes to this information as needed throughout the school year.
If there is ever a time that you do not receive a phone call or text message, but you think there is a chance of a delay/closure, please check our website or official district social media accounts.
