AHS Tutoring Program

With the help of the Margaret Daniels Foundation, Ashdown High School is proud to offer a tutoring program to our students. We have AHS students who volunteer their time assisting teachers and students in the subjects of mathematics, English, and science. Our volunteer tutors go through training provided by AHS Teacher Stephanie Ringgold in order to become certified tutors through the Nation Tutoring Association (NTA). During this process, students learn valuable and meaningful skills they can take with them to college and/or the workforce. In addition to building these skills, a host of other benefits come with being a member of the NTA.

Those benefits can be found by clicking on the following link: http://www.ntatutor.com/join.html
